Melbourne Prepares for Gimmel Tammuz

As the worldwide Lubavitch community prepares for Gimmel Tammuz, Melbourne conducted the first of a series of live international webcasts featuring internationally acclaimed speakers and noted Mashpi’im.

Over 150 men and women were in attendance this past Sunday for a video presentation of the Rebbe, followed by a live broadcasted address delivered by Rabbi Yisroel Noach Wichnin, Rosh Yeshivah of the Mayanot Yeshivah in Yerushalayim, Israel.

Rabbi Wichnin spoke about Hiskashrus as it applies in the past, present and future. He emphasized the importance of preparing for Gimmel Tammuz by being a true Chossid; mirroring and emulating the ways of the Rebbe.

The webcast was followed by a Farbrengen led by Rabbi Broh and Rabbi Lieder, who shared a number of first-hand stories and thought-provoking ideas. All in all, the large crowd came away inspired and motivated.

The event was organized by Yeshivah Shule, in conjunction with Chabad-Youth, Kollel-Menachem and Young-Yeshivah.
