Bnos Chomesh Has Fun Filled Lag Ba’omer Day
Bnos Chomesh students awoke on Lag Ba’omer to a sunny and warm day, eagerly anticipating their outing to Central Park.
The trip began with an interesting and creative scavenger hunt, where students were encouraged to search for hard-to-find items, such as a picture of a police man, the most interesting piece of trash in the park, or a person whose birthday fell out on that day and give them a birthday card.
The scavenger hunt was followed by a picnic lunch in a quiet, grassy corner of the park. The girls relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful nature around them, enhanced by the blue sky, and surrounded by the warm environment of the Bnos Chomesh spirit.
The highlight of the trip was row boating on the Central Park lake. The girls glided gently in their rowboats around the lake, and simply enjoyed the gorgeous weather and beautiful surroundings.
