2nd Graders Make Morah’s Dream Come True
What began as a dream ended up a reality: A school wide Tanya Baal Peh contest was launched at the Lubavitch Educational Center in Miami on Yud Tes Kislev. It culminated on Yud Shvat with thousands of lines being learned and a tremendous Nachas Ruach to the Rebbe.
But for one grade the contest never ended. Morah Rivka Mendelsohn‘s 2nd grade boys were not satisfied, and neither was their hard working Morah. “You’ll see, our class of 14 boys will surpass 1,000 lines by ourselves.”
To many, that was just “Morah Rivka’s dream,” but this past Friday it became a reality when Ari Young – a dedicated Talmid – finished Perek Aleph. It boosted the class to well over 1,000. The class now stands with pride at 1,040 lines.
Many boys have also finished Perek Alpeh and are well on their way into Perek Beis.
We wish them and their dedicated Morah a hearty Mazel Tov!

Yasher Koach to Morah Rivkah and the entire class! Morah Rivka is and has always been a fabulous educator, caring to the ‘Nth’ degree and motivating kids to bring out their best! Anyone and everyone can and should be proud of them.

to #1 the Rebbe is not proud not because of your stupid comment but because the Rebbe isagainst women being teachers of boys older that 5 years old. ask the head od of new haven day school to get updated in the Rebbes view on this

All the teacher and the children were doing was learning Tanya Baal Peh. WHY are people writing all these insults and comments.(how many lines of Tanya do they know by heart may be if they would sit down and learn they would not have time to write rubbish.)
