Machane Menachem Is Back at Last!

After many years of trials and tribulations, the board of directors of Machane Menachem is happy to announce the re-opening of the summer camp, which was founded in 1995, for boys between the ages of 13-14.

The goal of the camp is to provide young Yeshiva students with a healthy atmosphere – both physically and spiritually – for the duration of the summer.

Registration for the entire summer of 5772 (2012) will be an astonishingly low $1,800. The camp faculty is prepared to lower the cost even further for families that are struggling financially.

More details will follow.

as well as why only 13-14? what about the rest of the boys?

  • HUH?????

Why a need for this new camp? parksville, detroit and montrwal aren’t good enough???

  • Waste of time!

Don’t bother starting a new camp now! There are enough good camps out there already and they give discounts where needed.

    To #4:

Who claimed that above mentioned camps are not good enough?

CGI NY which i attended as a camper and later as a staff member was a great experience. )BTW, This was over 10 years ago).

CGI Montreal which I attended as a camper (long ago) was also good, besides the long travel.

I know nothing about Detroit, so i wont comment.

Now I ask you, whats wrong with having another camp? Do all Children and/or Bochrim have an opportunity to go to camp for the summer? Do above mentioned camps have enough space for every single Crown Heights and/or Lubavitcher Child and/or Bocher? Do you know that many programs/camps (esp. Yeshivat Kayitz)have closed this year, leaving a vacuum?

Where would you have these extra children hanging out? In the streets? The stolen meshichist camp ran by a mosser? (http://www.youtube.com/watc…)

I fail to see what your issue is.

URE SUCH A FOOL! what if someone cant afford those camps or dont want to go there for certain reasons?!?!? its a perfect opportunity

Are you stupid? All three camps you mentioned don’t have 8th Grade programs!

  • To #4

To #4: There aren’t enough camps for 13-14 y.o. boys (graduating 8th grade). Every place is already full.
