Moscow Youth Experience ‘A Trip to the Rebbe’

A group of about 40 Jewish young men from Moscow arrived in New York Wednesday for a weekend of learning, inspiration and personal growth.

The visit, titled ‘a trip to the Rebbe,’ was organized under the auspices of Chabad-Lubavitch of Moscow, led by Russia’s chief Rabbi Berel Lazar. The group was led by Rabbi Motty Veisberg.

On Wednesday, the group arrived at JFK Airport and headed to Manhattan for a day of sightseeing. The Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and Times Square were all on the itinerary.

Next, the group traveled to Washington, DC, where they caught a glimpse of the White House, the Capitol, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial and the Smithsonian Institution – among other sights.

On Thursday, the group went to the Ohel in Queens, where they wrote Panim to be placed at the Rebbe’s resting place.

The group is looking forward to what promises to be an uplifting Shabbos at the Ohel, filled with Farbrengens, inspiration and camaraderie.
