Parksville Campers and Staff Reconnect
Campers and staff of Gan Yisroel in Parksville, NY, gathered on Sunday for an amazing and enjoyable Camp reunion.
The campers sat down to a sumptuous pizza feast, followed by a beautiful rally, in which the 12 psukim were recited and camp songs were sung.
The campers were then treated to a dazzling magic show, after which they were each given their very own snack box.
The last part of the evening was arts and crafts, where campers enjoyed making their very own “silly putty.”
The program ended with raffles and prizes. An exclusive raffle was held for the campers who participated Gan Yisreol Elite: Yud Shvat – a four-week program that helped campers prepare for the special day.

For a Gan Yisroel reunion years ago, Rabbi Shemtov notified the Rebbe that there would be a magician at the event.
The Rebbe instructed that the magician should inform the children that all they are about to see is an illusion and that’s it’s not really magic.
At this years reunion, the “magician” followed those instruction.
