Skiing Trip Reward for Excellence in Learning
The students of Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Ocean Parkway enjoyed a frosty morning mountain hike at the Delaware Water Gap national recreation area. A full day and night of Davening, learning and skiing was spent at Montage Mountain Resort.
The Talmidim, many of whom have never been on skis in their lives, with the help of their peers took to it ‘like a duck to water.’
The trip rewarded students who showed growth and advancement in areas of Middos, Torah by heart, Limudei Kodesh studies and excellence in secular studies.
“We feel a Yeshiva should make a child comfortable, safe, and at home. It should inspire and provide a venue for academic growth in both Torah and secular studies for each individual’s needs,” said principal Rabbi S. Dechter.
