Aliya Institute Enjoys Shabbaton at Ski Resort

Last weekend, the Aliya Institute enjoyed its 10th annual ski Shabbaton. Thanks to the Eichhorn family, who generously give their vacation home every year for the trip, it was another amazingly beautiful and inspirational Shabbos.

“It was the best weekend of my life,” said one participant, “I don’t know why I never came on an Aliya Shabbaton before.”

The trip was a reward for attendance at Aliya shiurim and minyanim. Aliya has a learning program for its members almost every night of the week, including the current JLI course “Amazing Facts.” Monday nights, Aliya has a Chavrusa and Sushi program, where members are paired with 770 bochurim and community Bale-Batim.

Generous donors sponsored each individual participant, making the wonderful experience possible. One happy participant confessed that it was his first Shabbos he kept in over 4 years, and he plans to try keep it every week from now on.
