Islanders to Host Chabad’s Chanukah Miracle on Ice
On the first night of Chanukah, the New York Islanders (4-6) will be looking for a miracle in their game against the Winnipeg Jets (5-4), and will be hosting ‘Miracle on Ice,’ with a halftime Menorah lighting, skating on the coliseum ice and free dinner.
The evening is a project of Chabad of West Hempstead, which is lead by Rabbi Yossi and Chaya Rochel Leiberman. The event will be taking place on Wednesday, November 27th, which is the first night of Chanukah.
The Menorah lighting will take place on the ice after the first period of the game.
A free Glatt Kosher dinner, compliments of I&D Glatt, will be enjoyed during the game.
The game will be followed by skating on the Nassau Coliseum’s ice rink.
Tickets are available at $21, $35 and $65 – which include a seat at the game as well as all the activities afterwards.
