Israeli officials issued a travel warning for Thailand after a suspected terrorist was arrested in Bangkok and threats were made against Israelis and synagogues there. The warning is severe and immediate, and it is feared that terrorists will attack popular tourist spots.

Rabbi Nechemia Wilhelm, Shliach to Bangkok, reported after Shabbos that the Chabad House hosted 300 tourists for Kabbolas Shabbos and seudos, and the guests’ participation was not lessened because of the warning.

“The Beis Chabad has constant Israeli and local security coverage at all times, so the activities will go on undisturbed,” he said.
