Nine-Year-Old Terror Victim Receives Gift

Representatives of Chabad Terror Victims Project visited Noam, the courageous nine-year-old girl who was shot in the chest by a terrorist at her home in Psagot, Israel, in order to bring comfort and assistance to her and her family.

Noam was injured last Saturday night when a terrorist snuck into her community. He looked right at her and fired three bullets at her at point blank range. When she screamed for help, the terrorist ran off. Noam’s screams prevented further tragedy as the terrorist was clearly out to harm as many people as possible.

Noam had to have surgery on her neck and was just released from the hospital to come home and recover with her family all around her. It was a miracle that she wasn’t more badly hurt.

CTVP representatives brought Noam a variety of gifts and a Chumash, Tehillim and Tanya (Chitas) to help aid in her emotional recovery as well.

On the terrace of Noam’s house family members and CTVP representatives broke into spontaneous dancing to celebrate the miracle of Noam’s being home and the miracle that no one else was hurt. Together they sang “Utzu Aitzah Visufar”, a special prayer for blessings.

CTVP will continue to assist Noam and her family for as long as they are needed.  Please daven for further recovery for Noam. Her name is Noam bas Michal Rachel.
