Lubavitchers and Breslovers Clog Ben-Gurion Airport
The tens of thousands who will be leaving Eretz Yisrael ahead of Rosh Hashanah began making their way to Ben-Gurion International Airport on Sunday morning (26 Elul), and the congestion was evident, especially flights to Kiev, impacting Breslov Chassidim. Organizers in Uman report that expect upwards of 35,000 mispallalim this year, many coming from Eretz Yisrael.
YWN-Israel visited Ben-Gurion on Sunday morning and Terminal 3 was abuzz with Yidden heading to both Uman and 770. Many Chabadnikim were seen heading for El Al, but the main focus was on the other side of the top floor of the terminal, where an entire area was designated for flights to Kiev. There were chareidi floor monitors in tan jackets on hand, hired to maintain order and deal with those heading to Uman, to keep them organized, assist them in finding minyanim and other needs.
But all of that was not the cause – airport workers, baggage handlers in particular, decided to hold a one-hour strike. The backlog created in that hour has ramifications for hours to come. The exact cause for the walk-out remains unclear.
The Breslov chassidim appeared unfazed, confident they would reach their destination in time for yomtov.
time to go back already
Let them ALL go to Uman instead of descending on us for free vacations.
so ridiculous!!
all crazy . they should all stay at home with their families for yom tov. so ridiculous how thousands of men leave their wives and kids on the most important yom tov. very selfish.
if they really wish to go to r’ nachman, they should do so b4 rosh hashana.
thousands of dollars are being poured into a city that can not hate jews more. they are taking their money and laughing behind their backs
ATTENTION all breslav fans, stay at home with your families where u belong and go another time to visit the kever.. not on roshana. !!!

AND WHAT ABOUT LUBAITCHERS WHO COME FROM ISRAEL TO 770 FOR TISHREI??? AND LEAVE THEIR FAMILIES AT HOME???
hocheach tochiach
#2 they don’t tell you to not listen to your Rebbe, so don’t tell them not to listen to theirs!
k’siva vchasima tova wherever you may be this year.
motti
to #2 and the people who go to Crown Heights…?
DaasTorah
They are going the wrong way! There is no mitzvah in going to Uman but there is a mitzvah in going to Eretz Yisrael! They are wasting time and money.
A proud Lubavitcher
If you check Lubavitchers come with there families or they are not marred. You will not find to many marred people coming on there on there own. They also do not fly for 3 days they stay for the whole yom tovim. If you go now to 770 you will see it is set up by yeshivas and they all are continuing there sader just as in Israel, France or were ever they came from. May we all be blessed with a great year with moshiach now.

as for the lubavs that go to 770 for tishrei… if they are single and have no responsibilities, no harm done. but if they are married and abandoning their families for the most important yom tov, then i think that is a big issue. i am just staing my opinion, not the law!!if u ask the wives of these pple if they mind that their husbands leave them alone, they say they don’t, but from personal experience, i know they do mind…. alot!!
Kiev flight
“Many Chabadnikim were seen heading for El Al, but the main focus was on the other side of the top floor of the terminal, where an entire area was designated for flights to Kiev.”
My whole Kvutza flew from Eretz Yisrael to 770 through Kiev.

#6 Obviously there is no mitzvah, just like there is no mitzvah to go to 770, or to the ohel. But your issue is unfounded. It says that where tzadikim are buried it has the kedusha of eretz yisroel. But more importantly, how dare you say they are going the wrong way when their rebbe gave instructions to all his chassidim on this inyan. Stop bashing others. ksiva vchasima tova.
