Rambam Concluded for the 31st Time in Montreal

Sunday evening the community in Montreal gathered for the 31st Siyum of the Rambam, and the beginning of the 32nd cycle of studying the Rambam three chapters a day.

The event was emceed by Rabbi Shmuel Kramer, who opened the evening with a Dvar Torah followed by a video of the Rebbe. The chief Rabbi of the Sfardi community in Quebec, Rabbi Dovid Sabach, blessed the event and those gathered.

Rabbi Dovid Refoel Banon, Shliach to Laval, Dayan and community Rabbi, conducted the siyum [completion] of theRambam study cycle.

The chief Rabbi of Montreal, Rabbi Binyomin Weiss, blessed the crowd in the name of all the cities rabbis.

Rabbi Leib Kaplan, the Rosh Yeshiva of Tomchei Temimim Montreal, conducted the haschola [beginning] of the new cycle of Rambam study.

The main speaker of the event was Shliach to Minnesota, Rabbi Moshe Feller, who told stories of his Shlichus and of the special kiruvim her merited from the Rebbe.

Following the formal portion of the evening the crowd sat down for an intimate Farbrengen which lasted into the night.
