Mikvah Yisroel at the Ohel Reopened!

Mikvah Yisroel, which had been closed for several months by order of the city of New York, is now open to the public once again. After many months of hard work, B”H we have managed to obtain all the necessary permits, including a certificate of occupancy, to reopen Mikvah Yisroel to the public.

The Shluchim Office would like to extend its thanks to Sholom Laine and Bentzion Turk who assisted with the costs. We would also like to thank Rabbi Abba Refson whose mikvah, around the corner, can now also be renovated now that Mikvah Yisroel is back in service.

And we would once again like to thank those who were involved in the original construction of Mikvah Yisroel, including Rabbi Sholom and Yossi Duchman, Reb Levi Levayov, Rabbi Levi Mochkin, Reb Yitzchok Raitport and several others who contributed to the construction of the Mikvah.

Mikvah Yisroel is located at the side entrance of 224-16 Francis Lewis Blvd, a minute’s walk from Ohel Chabad Lubavitch.
