I.G.M. Competition in London

For the past month Lubavitch Boys school in London have been involved in a special project in connection with Inyanei Geulah Moshiach.

The annual I.G.M. competition sees the school split into 5 teams, each one named for one of the keilim in the Bais Hamikdosh. The talmidim were given weekly booklets containing questions and answers regarding Moshiach and Geulah. The boys were then given weekly tests and based on their results the teams received points accordingly. The project also involved the teams drawing pictures, banners, making exhibits and acting out skits all in connection with Moshiach.

More than half the school received 100% on at least one test. Some of the comments that were made regarding the project were:

“I learned so much about moshiach, it was so interesting.”

“The IGM Competition brought out a feeling of achdus for each team and also the older boys felt an achriyus to help the younger boys on their team.”

“It brought out many hidden talents we discovered the artists, actors, comedians, etc.”

“My son is only five, but he was so into it! Thanks so much!”
I.G.M. was run by Rabbi Shmuel Aryeh Hackner and Rabbi Dudi Cohen, who are teachers as well as being in charge of the extra curricular activities in the school.

This project was done lilui nishmas Chana A’’h bas y’’blct h’’rhch Yosef sheyiche Kolodny, a sister-in-law of Rabbi Hackner.
