“Mishmar” has begun in Sydney

AUSTRALIA — This Thursday began “Mishmar” for the new school term of 5771 – 2011. After school, children learned with Bochurim and played games.

During Mishmar the boys, ages 6 to 12, after school hours, learn with the Talmidim Hashluchim – Rabbinic Students of the Yeshiva Gedola, play a game as well as enjoy refreshments such as hot chips and soda.

Baruch Hashem there was a very nice turnout this week, 35 boys, and BE“H we hope it will grow with time.

Here is how one of the students described Mishmar:

”The Zal was filled with excitement as 35 kids came running in to join this years mishmar of the first term.

Who could have known that these kids would be so happy to learn a sicha of the Rebbe?

Well if you were there you would have seen it as the shluchim learned with them!

They later got refreshments, and then the second to best thing, played the game “Guess who” in which some kids had to try and find out who they really were, Uncle Moshe? Agent Emes? or no-one!

As one kid put it “this is the best mishmar ever”!

The Yeshiva Gedola is a branch of the Yeshiva Centre – Chabad Headquarters of NSW, under the auspices of Rabbi Pinchus Hacohen sheyichye Feldman, Head Shliach of the Rabbe to NSW, Australia.

The Hanhola wishes to thank all the Talmidim Hashluchim who ran the program and those who assisted in the program with blessings of success “Mechayil El Chayil” from strength to strength!
