Shlichus: Was it the Vision of the Alter Rebbe?

Tonight we mark the yartzheit of the first Chabad Rebbe, the Alter Rebbe.

In this unique gathering of Ontario-based shluchim, the question is brought to the table as to what was revolutionary about the leadership of the Alter Rebbe? Is the shlichus that people engage in today really in line with the goals of the founder of Chabad?

Producer Michael Kigel entitles this show, “farbring”, as he allows for an open forum and a variety of ideas to be brought to the table by the participants.

    They should have brought Rabbi Shmuli Nachlas the hardest and most acomplished shliach in Canada. Rabbi Shmuli does so much for the thousands of youth in the Thornhill/Flamingo area. Yasher Koach to Rabbi Kaplan for finding such a dedicated guy!

    There is no doubt the Baal Shem Tov was told and relayed the words “when your teachings…….”
    So the emissaries/shluchim responsibility is to have water that the jews/people that live in their techoom can partake of to give them strength and guidance improving their lives and enviorns.
