Cheder at the Ohel’s Special Program for Yud Dalet Kislev
Cheder at the Ohel had a special program for Yud Dalet Kislev, the day the Rebbe got married. Rabbi Naftoli Charyton led the program about the Rebbe’s wedding to his Rebbitzen.
Children gave tzedaka and had a Seuda in honor of this special day. Each boy in Kitah Daled addressed the school concerning one aspect of the wedding.
Cheder parent, Rabbi Elkanah Shmotikin and his son Mendel displayed Mendel’s project. He made a poster of the Rebbe and Rebbizen with their wedding invitations. He included the Frediker Rebbe’s famous words of how this is the day, they (the Rebbe and Frediker Rebbe) became connected to each other. The children saw a short clip of the Rebbe being mesader kidushin at the wedding of a chosid.
