Tuesday the 6th of Iyar marks the 21rst Yahrtzeit since the passing of Reb Yisroel HaLevi Duchman OBM.
Reb Yisroel was known for his unique Hiskashrus with the Rebbe, and his special love and Ahavas Yisroel for every single yid regardless of one’s background and affiliation
Reb Yisroel was a simple and devoted Chossid who never missed a day of davening in 770.
All year he would wait and look forward to Simchas Torah – which was highlighted by his Davening before the Omud, make Kiddush – followed by his special few private minutes with the Rebbe – that gave him CHAYAS all year long.
As in the past 20 years, Reb Yisroels’ sons – Sholom, Yossi, Mendel & Boruch will daven in 770 . Followed b a lavish Kiddush / Breakfast served to all bochurim and anash.
May his Neshoma have an Aliyah.
