Yud Tes & Chof Daled Kislev at Chaya Mushka Seminary
TZFAT, Israel [CHI] — Over the past 6 weeks the girls of Seminary Chaya Mushka of Tzfat have participated in an intense Hachana for Yud Tes Kislev and Chaf Daled Teves. The Hachana – designed to strengthen Hiskashrus to the Rebbe and amass more knowledge of Chassidus – succeeded beyond expectations.
In the weeks leading up to Yud Tes Kislev the girls studied Perakim of Tanya in depth. Three detailed written tests were taken and on Yud Tes Kislev the girls were orally tested by Rabbi’s Rosenfeld and Zilber. The vast knowledge displayed at this Chidon was incredible.
Niggunim resounding from one corner, someone learning a Sicha in another, yet another group studying Tanya and more girls reading letters from the Rebbe.
‘It’s a great feeling to be able to answer someone’s questions on the Tanya and know which Perek you are quoting from’ said one student.
Over 480 Sichas have been learnt together with 106 Maamorim. 3237 Lines of Tanya have been memorized and over 600 Neshe”k given out – all in memory of Frumet Yehudis Bas Shimshon Halevi.
The Hachana culminated in a grand raffle for tickets to Haditch for Chaf Daled Teves. The girls will also be visiting the surrounding Mekomos Hakedoshim and will spend an uplifiting Shabbos in Mezibuz.

This is a wonderful program and I wish my daughter was a part of it. Unfortunately the seminary system is one where the hanhalos can do as they wish and choose whichever girls they want!(especially this one!)
The Chabad Chinuch committees need to reevaluate how seminaries are run as this is a very important year for a young lady and unfortunately many girls go off on shlichus prematurely and the results are irreparable!
