His and Hers Chasidus
New translations of two classic ma’amarim, are creating a buzz at the Kehot Hei-Teves sale.
The first is the Bar Mitzvah Ma’amar—“Channeling the Divine,” recited by every bar mitzvah boy.
The second is “Feminine Faith,” a ma’amar about the unique qualities of Jewish women by the Rebbe Maharash. A first in English, “Feminine Faith” will appeal to women’s learning groups and Bas Mitzvah girls beginning to study chasidus.
According to reports, both are being snapped up by parents, husbands and wives who are gifting them to their children and spouses, as well as buying them for their own study.
“There is plenty of basic chasidus in ‘Feminine Faith.’ So, no, it’s not only for women and girls,” says Rabbi Yosef B. Friedman of Kehot.
Both ma’amarim have been published under the “Chasidic Heritage Series” banner, an innovative learning tool that offers user-friendly translations of classic Chasidic discourses.
