Chanukah Alive – A Traveling Chanukah Theater in Toronto

The Bochrim of Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto performed a stunning educational Chanukah play, traveling around the city, performing in all the major Jewish schools including non-religious schools. 13 Bochrim worked endless nights to produce a Chanukah theater on wheels that catered to 9 schools within 4 days.

Tzivos Hashem Canada worked with the Bochrim to produce a truly professional presentation. With a perfect blend of acting, music and audience interaction, they took the children back in time to the excitement of the victory of the Macabees.

“I wouldn’t expect a Hollywood production like this from 17 year old rabbinical students!” a principal said. “They’ve got the full nine yards: wireless mics, stage lighting and authentic costumes!” This success was a major Kiddush Lubavitch among the Toronto Jewish community.
