Chabad Shliach Hurt in Litchfield Crash

The Republican American

LITCHFIELD, CT — Rabbi Joseph Eisenbach was transported to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital from the scene of a two-car crash Friday afternoon.

James Mattice Sr., 50, of Terryville was at the wheel of his sister’s Nissan Altima headed east on Rt. 202 past the Green around 1:20 p.m. when Eisenbach, the driver and lone occupant of a Toyota Avalon, pulled out in front of the oncoming car from Meadow Street and was struck broadside, police said.

Eisenbach, who complained of back and neck pain, was transported to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. He was seen moving his arms and communicating with rescue workers at the scene. Police closed Rt. 202 for almost an hour, and diverted traffic on to West Street until the accident scene was cleared.

Best wishes to the Rabbi and Mr. Mattice. Baruch HaShem, it sounds like none of the people involved were injured seriously.

so was he hurt or not, Why does the Republican American write.
“Eisenbach, who complained of back and neck pain, was transported to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington.” if that never happened?

Or did it happen? just by the time he contacted the brother he was already out and feeling better, now using the title NOT hurt, to smash the accuracy of Republican America, whats the point… who cares about the Republican America?

How is Rabbi Eisenbach doing? Can anyone let us know? He is such a wonderful, delightful person. A true hardworking shliach. I am so worried to read about this, but do not want to bother the family and call. If anyone, or this website, could give us an update, I’d wish you would. Thank you so much! Refuah!!!!

The Rabbi had a huge miracle, bh he is not hurt, the other cars driver had brake (skid) marks over 80ft before he hit the Rabbi in 25 mph zone, so they believe he was going at least triple the speed (the other driver walked out not hurt, tg). well bh the rebbe was/is watching.

We had a great cgi party friday night with the rabbi & over 100 community members, a gr8 miracle!
