Proud owners of new Siddurim!

CAMBRIA HEIGHTS, NY [CHI] — As the Pre 1A students marched into the Shul at Cheder at the Ohel, they were welcomed by their parents and grandparents with shining faces full of nachas. This was the day that the students received their very own Siddur.

Demonstrated by their presentation welcoming the parents and the beautiful songs they sang, the students were very proud of all their achievements this year, and were delighted to share their accomplishments with their parents. In addition to their progress in Hebrew reading, the boy’s chazzered the first eleven lines of Tanya by heart out loud together!

Morah Leah Notik welcomed all parents and grandparents to the grand Siddur party, and introduced the slideshow presentation that was arranged by two very devoted parents Mrs. Miriam Wolowik and Rabbi Meir Geisinsky.

The Principal, Rabbi Aaron Cohen spoke warmly to the children and with an inspiring story, explained how their davening is their “cell phone to Hashem,” then blessed everyone with the traditional Birchas Kohanim.

Parent Rabbi Meir Geisinsky told a wonderful story to the children about the meaning of Tefila. It was an afternoon of nachas for all.
