The Year Comes to an End – But It’s Just the Beginning

This video was made for the end of the year “Mother and Daughter Tea” – describing some of the accomplishments of the new Chayolei Tzivos Hashem program, created this year by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch together with staff of Tzivos Hashem and Anash.com.

Principals, Teachers, Parents and children express their excitement:

When we I heard about the program I brought it to the schools because I heard how exciting it is. (Mrs. Goldberg – Principal

What makes the kids so excited about the program is how professional it is… they get their own ID card, they can scan it… it makes them feel like they are part of something really cool.” (Ms. B. Cahikin – Teacher)

“Till now, my parents had credit cards and went to ATM machines, now I have my own card and get to scan it in whenever I want” (Freida Solomon – Student age 11)

“With global rallies throughout the year, our children feel that they are not just another boy doing their own thing, but they belong, are important, and are part of a global effort. This is very inspiring to the children and frankly, to the staff as well” (Goldy Blank – Program Director)

The children gaining

“I already know the whole Perek alef and am starting Perek beis… scanning the Tanya bar codes make learning Tanya so much more exciting” (Lipa Baumgarten – Student age 7)

“They love their cards… scanning it ion the scanner, seeing when they have actually surpassed their Tanya goals… they are so excited” (Mrs. Spalter – Teacher)

“Because it is personalized for each student… they are able to grow and feel so proud of themselves… This program gives the opportunity to student who may not be doing so well academically to really shine and grow on her own level… she feels recognized and accomplished.

I would like to thank Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch and team at Tzivos Hashem and ansh.com for the most amazing programming and for making it so affordable. This program is truly amazing.” (Mrs. Goldberg – Principal)

The excitement spreads to the home

“The Chayolei Tzivos Hashem program really sets the standard in our home for how the children should be behaving as Lubavitcher Chassidim. The children come home and we go through the missions and we say, ok, which ones can we do, as a family. They are so motivated, because of the Chinese auction and the medals… They hold them, gaze at them… Ma look, I’m a sergeant!” (Mrs. F. M. Shusterman – Mother)

“One of the missions was to learn Torah while you walk in the street. On our 2 mile trek home from shul on Shavuos, my children were singing the Tanya that they had studied by heart and I remember thinking, these streets must have waited 5769 years to have words of Torah spoken in them” (Mrs. T. Lewis – Mother)

Thank you

Thanks to the support of the Rohr family and the tremendous display of achdus between these central organizations; Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, Tzivos Hashem H.Q. and Anash.com, and local schools, we have all benefited. The heart-warming achdus is certainly a major factor in the program’s success, and its positive effect on the children. We are truly thankful to them for this”. (Rabbi Abramson – Father)

“The Rebbe’s vision of having a worldwide children’s effort to bring Moshiach is truly amazing. It is humbling to see the monthly reports from the global database; the numbers are staggering. With the collective effort of thousands of children worldwide, over 320,000 kapitlach of Tehillim, for over 400,000 minutes were said this year on Shabbos Mevorchim. More than 27,000 lines of Tanya were learned by heart, and it keeps growing. This is something the children and their parents and educators can be extremely proud of, as I’m sure the Rebbe is.” (Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum – Tzivos Hashem HQ)

  • what age is this program for?

why don’t I hear about this program for my son? he is in Oholei Torah, 6th grade. Is it only for certain ages?

  • wants to be included in tzivos hashem

unfortunately we live in a non-lubavitcher community. i`m sure the rebbe would be VERY SAD that lubavitcher kids are excluded just because they arent REGISTERED as shluchim or go to a lubavitcher school.
Don’t you see how much MORE kids in this situation NEED a program like this? more than those who go to lub. schools.
PLEASE please tell us how we can include our children in this.

  • Chana

This program is definitely giving the Rebbe lots of Nachas. May the team continue in all its work and go M’Chayol lchayol.
Hatzlacha Raba and a big yasher koach

  • Dovid Sholom Pape

Chayolei TH is a fantastic program. No one knows how many hours and hours of work go into making it work! Yashar Koach.
