For two converging reasons, the publishers are announcing an unprecedented campaign to disseminate the best-selling halachic book: Zemonim.

First, as announced on Israel National News and all major Jewish media, a new web-based program (www.mikvahcalendar.com) has recently been launched. This site, the initiative of a U.S.-based professional staff, led by Mrs. Rivkah Bloom (MCS, M.I.T.) is expected to ease observance of family law for millions of people.

Unprecedented Campaign to Disseminate Halacha

For two converging reasons, the publishers are announcing an unprecedented campaign to disseminate the best-selling halachic book: Zemonim.

First, as announced on Israel National News and all major Jewish media, a new web-based program (www.mikvahcalendar.com) has recently been launched. This site, the initiative of a U.S.-based professional staff, led by Mrs. Rivkah Bloom (MCS, M.I.T.) is expected to ease observance of family law for millions of people.

Rabbi Fishel Jacobs (Kfar Chabad), the author of Zemonim, escorted the halachic development of that site for years, and gave his haskomah for it. (He is currently examining other similar sites which are expected to be launched, soon.)

This new application to modern technology allows people to record information necessary to observe family halacha. Though these sites supply an online database, Rabbi Jacobs wrote in his approbation, it is still incumbent on all couples to continue keeping a written record in their possession.

This, of course, is what Zemonim was designed for.

Second, Zemonim now marks it’s fifteenth anniversary since first publication! Since then, tens of thousands of people have benefited from its straightforward graphics and easily understood summary of relevant laws.

This campaign is under the urging of many Chabad rabonim shli”ta. (This subsidized effort is offered only until supply lasts.)
