Cheder at the Ohel Students, Soldiers in Tzivos Hashem

Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum explaining how the new program works.

QUEENS, NY [CHI] — Last week the Cheder at the Ohel joined the many Lubavitcher schools worldwide that are part of the all-new Chayolei Tzivos Hashem. The elite brigade, exclusively for Lubavitcher children, marks a revolutionary new phase in the Rebbe’s vision for soldiers in Hashem’s army. The students were very thrilled to be involved in this great program and are eagerly waiting to climb the ranks by fulfilling their missions!

Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum of Tzivos Hashem headquarters was elated to introduce this phenomenal program to another great group of Lubavitcher children in this wonderful Yeshiva, he explained: Mitzvos don’t expire and neither do miles! By earning at least 100 new miles each month all the previous months’ miles “roll over” and can be used AGAIN! The computerized system allows the children to scan their ID cards which logs them into their account. They then scan their achievement cards and the miles are added to their account!

The children will be choosing personal missions to add in this area and the maasim tovim that thousands of children already registered will be doing this great program is dedicated to the memory of Levi Yitzchak Wolowik A”H.

A thankful parent remarked: My child hasn’t let go of his Chayolei Tzivos Hashem wallet and badge, all he talks about is being a general star 5, but we know he means a 5 star general says the father of a 6 year old, We are thrilled that the Cheder at the Ohel is part of it along with the other great things they do. There’s so much out there today to compete with, and B“H we now have something exciting, fun and quality to counter it!”

My son is so excited to be a part of the new program.

Thank you to the Cheder Admin and Parents for getting our boys involved in this great program.

As a side note — Baruch Hashem – we are SO happy to have the Cheder at the Ohel. The attention given to the boys by rebbes that truly care is great.

    To Lea,
Tzivos Hashem realized that it is no challenge for a Lubavitch kid to burn Chometz, eat Matzah etc, so they tailored a special program that kids will actually earn their 5 star general status.
Thanks to Tzivos Hashem and Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum.

  • Proud supporter

I don’t have any boys to send to the Cheder, but I am happy to be one of their supporters.

Everyone I know who has children learning there is extremely happy.

Yasher Koach to all the hardworking staff and parents!

BTW, I never knew there was such a big shul – WOW!! – it looks quite spacious! This must be the first large indoor facility on the block.

  • Very Happy Cheder Parent

We are very happy to have our son at the Ohel.
The learning is amazing and the children are very happy. The most important is they are proud to be chassidim of the Rebbe!
