Released Time Melava Malka
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Released Time had its annual melava malka at the Kollel on Motzoai Shabbos, honoring their instructors. Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, head Shliach to California, spoke about Released Time in California as it was in the “early years,” followed by Rabbi Chaim Bryski, Shliach to Thousand Oaks, California, who explained how to make the learning classes more interactive and interesting.

A few bochurim spoke about their experiences in Released Time. The highlight of the event was the recount of a Released Time baal teshuva currently studying in Morristown, NJ Yeshiva, who spoke about his experiences as a public school student.
The event concluded with a video of the Rebbe farbrenging with Released Time, and a slide show of this year’s pictures. Every bochur received a special Released Time scarf at the conclusion to the event.
