Starting the Year on the Right Foot has Taken on a Totally New Meaning

BONDI, Australia [CHI] — 15 to 20 young men, having expressed that their being extremely impressed and inspired from the young Yeshiva Shluchim students, made a request of Rabbi Pinchus Feldman Sheyichye OAM, Head Shliach of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in NSW, Australia, if they too could learn and receive Rabbinic ordination.

After much thought and planning a structured program was set up where, with the conditions of top Chassidic behaviour, a daily lesson in Chassidic literature and a weekly lesson in Talmud these young men will also have the opportunity to study for Rabbinic Ordination. Below are photo’s of Rabbi Pinchus Feldman sheyichye OAM, Head Shliach of the Rebbe giving the weekly lesson in Talmud, and photo’s of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Hacohen sheyichye Feldman giving his daily lesson in the Laws of Meat and Milk.

May these new lessons hasten the coming of Moshiach, Amen!

    It is a disgrace and a disservice to the rabbinate, to go distributing smicha “willy-nilly” without proper supervision.

    As it is, the situation in Lubavitch [where a bochur can bum out for 4 yrs and return for smicha…or drop out and go straight to smicha] is disturbing to say the least. This is yet another move to make a Lubavitcher smicha completely meaningless and obsolete

    Gonna milk the cows: For your info, the buchurim that are coming are coming from Lubavitch Yeshivas. Not from New Zealend. Get your facts straight.

    What sort of Lubavitcher are you who lacks ahavas yisroel in being judgemental that there’ll be no proper supervision and criticising the Rebbe’s hoioro for all to learn the halochois of semicha. I’d like to know who gave you semicha what were youre marks and what you are now doing with your life.Shame on you, if anything you should title youreself a misnagdisher rov .

    This is Emanuel and I want you all to know everything you have said maybe true but you have no idea how deep these now 30 men are. Most of them have been religios for atleast 15 years and have attended yeshivah in the past for at least four years. I myself went to Bay Ayin from 1995 to 1998 and served in the Israeli army afterwards. We are Bali teshuva that understand that you need a certain amount of knowledge to appriciate the Mitzvot and serve Hashem.

    BTW “Lubavitcher Rov” you have brought din on to yourself when you judge, I suggest you talk to a Rov.
