
First 28 Sivan Farbrengen in the World
SYDNEY, Ausraila [CHI] — As the opening shot for the celebrations of 28 Sivan around the globe, the day the Rebbe and the Rebbitzen were saved from the Nazis and came to the safe shores of the USA.
Thanks to Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Hakohen Feldman, Rabbinical administrator of the Yeshiva Gedola and Smicha program in Sydney Australia, a Thanks giving meal took place in the Yeshiva Centre – Chabad Headquarters in NSW with Rabbi Ahron Dov Halperin, the main editor of the Kfar Chabad Magazine.
Rabbi Halperin spoke with good taste on many topics, connecting to the Rebbe, the Moishe Rabainu of the generation, how the Rebbe expressed himself to Rabbi Shneur Chaim Gutnick ZATA“L that since Rabbi Pinchus Feldman came to Sydney ”Sydney is mine“ and what that means to us, beautiful inspiring stories and a wonderful time was had by all! Following Rabbi Halperin spoke Rabbi Avrohom Yaakov Webber, A member of the administration of the ”Yad Tzvi – Educational institute“ who told inspiring amazing stories about his great uncle Rabbi Moishe Webber ZATZA”L and about his great connection bitul and Hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
