Kinus Talmidim Hashluchim in Israel, Big Success!

TZFAT, Israel [CHI] — The Kinus Talmidim Hashluchim which took place this past Shabbos in Tzfas turned out to be a great success!

Lerech 45 Bochurim took part in the Kinus (from Maya’anot-Yerushalayim, Arad / Rostov, Migdal Aimek, Kiryat Gat, Kfar Chabad, Tzfas and Tel Aviv) which they Farbrenged together till the wee hours of the morning strengthening each other on there Hiskashrus to the Rebbe and continuing their Shlichus.

They arrived in Tzfas Erev Shabbos Parshas Ki Sisa and took a group picture. After Mincha there was a Shiur Chassidus by Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Wolberg, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Lubavitch Manchester (who was brought down by the Vaad especially for the Kinus), followed by Kabolas Shabbos and Seudas Shabbos. Hatomim Moishe’la Gurary, Shliach in Migdal Aimek, was the MC. Hatomim Mendy Bronstein, Shliach in Tzeirei Hashluchim, Tzfas started with a D’var Malchus followed by Hatomim Bentzi Shemtov, Shliach in Tomchei Temimim, Arad / Rostov and Hatomim Shloime Stock, Shliach in Maya’anot , Yerushalayim who shared interesting stories on how to strengthen our Shlichus. Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Wolberg spoke about the fact that the Shluchim are titled as ‘Talmedei Hashluchim’ by the Rebbe, which in other words mean they also have to be a Talmid.

On that note he continued to Farbreng Shabbos day explaining that through Shluchim also being Talmidim they are ‘yisgadel v’yiskadish shmei rabba’ – make the Rebbe’s name great.

The Farbrengen lasted for over 13 hours with a slight break in middle to fit in Ma’ariv / Havdalah. Rabbi Reitzes and Rabbi Kaplan joined the Farbrengen after Shabbos – for them (being that the Shluchim were still in Shabbos).

Sunday Morning the Shluchim went to visit the kever of Reb Yisroel Arye Leib – the Rebbe’s brother and from there they were taken on a tour through the old city of Tzfas visiting the Moisdois of Chabad. Their final stop was at the Tzemach Tzedek Shul which was where they Davened Mincha and then made their way to the Bais Hatavshel of Kolel Chabad where the Banquet was held.

The Banquet was set up beautifully with tables filled with salads / dips and a two course meal was served followed by desert.

The MC was Hatomim Mendy Bronstein. Hatomim Schneur Livitin started off with a D’var Malchus followed by Rabbi Chaim Kaplan, Head Shliach of Tzfas who shared Divrei Brocha.

Then there was a video of the Rebbe shown followed by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Chitrick who shared some advice to help them on their Shlichus. The main speaker was Rabbi Aaron Eliezer Tzeitlin who shared his personal experiences on Shlichus and stressed on the fact that a Shliach has to be a ‘Dugma Chaya’.

After those inspiring words (and the energy taken from the whole Kinus) – before they went back to their place of Shlichus – the Shluchim spontaneously started dancing to the song of ‘ From 770 . . . Shluchei Adoneinu ‘ – that’s how they really felt!
