Parents, Students, and Teachers gather at the Shluchim Online School’s annual Celebration
BROOKLYN, NY [CHI] — Hand in hand with the concurrent Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchos, dozens of young Shluchos who attend The Shluchim Office’s Online School converged on Chovevei Torah’s social hall on Thursday January 24th, 2008 for a grand luncheon and class reunion, with many meeting their virtual classmates and teachers for the first time in real life.

The delicious lunch was capped with speeches by student Chavi Kahanov of Jacksonville, FL, parent Mrs. Dini Cohen of Sacramento, CA, Shluchim Office Director Rabbi Gedalya Shemtov, and with awards distributed by principal Mrs. Gitty Rosenfeld.
Winners of the Online School’s “Parsha Pro” voluntary extracurricular project, Menucha Rochel and Shterna Sara Raskin, collected their prizes, and a special video was presented. The gala event ended with a grand trip to a local bowling alley.
The Shluchim Office extends thanks to its entire staff for their tireless efforts in making this event one to be proud of, and to the Online School Founding Sponsors Rabbi and Mrs. Moshe & Rutti Weiss, Shluchim to Sherman Oaks, CA, for making the success of the Online School possible.
