YK Tzeirei Hashluchim Concludes

Yeshivas Kayitz – Tzeirei Hashluchim, which took place in the Yisroel Aryeh Leib – Colel Chabad Campus in Tzfat completed an amazing summer program.

98 students, some from the yeshiva and others from around the world, took part in an intensive learning program, in a special chasidishe environment, while enjoying trips and tours of the land of Israel. The program, which took place for the 11th time this year, has built a reputation as a proper program for Bochurim.

The program was run by Temimim Eli Rosenfeld, Shmuel Shur, and Zalman Futerfas, while the administration was run by Rabbi Menachem Traxler. In addition to the learning program, a Mivtza Torah took place, run by Hatomim Dovid Kotlarsky, in which 31 Bochurim participated and completed Masechtes Chagiga and Makos baal peh.

A ceremony was held in a restaurant in Kfar Chabad, in which the Bochurim were tested, which the Rishon Letziyon Rabbi Shlomo Amar, Chief Rabbi of Israel, was to attend and test the Bochurim, but could not attend and sent a letter (see below) praising them for continuing their studies throughout the summer, and wished them success in their endeavors.

At the event Rabbi Chaim Kaplan, Menahel of the Moisdos, thanked the staff for their dedication and making the summer a success for the Bochurim.

With the conclusion of the summer program the Bochurim returned with a newly imbued liveliness and chassidishe spirit to their respective yeshivos, and to the yeshivas campus in Tzfat where the new school year began with the children of Shluchim from around the world.
