With over 12 amazing water slides, the children splashed around and cooled off from the heat of the Florida sun. Sheep, ducks, chicks, rabbits and many more animals were available for all the children to pet and play with at the petting zoo that was on campus. A broad range of exciting carnival rides for all ages were brought in especially for this occasion. The campers were thrilled by the amount of rides and entertainment that was available for them: Bungee Jumping, Rock Climbing, Ferris wheel, Swings, Tubs of fun, Pirate Revenge, Foam Pit, Sand Storm, Mind winder, Twin Spin, etc… There were jugs of water and fruit punch available for all.

After a delicious lunch of pizza, watermelon, and chips the campers & staff joined together for a grand rally. Tzedokah was given, and the twelve pesukim were recited. Each camp selected two campers to recite a possuk. Rabbi Uminer spoke about the importance of Gimmel Tammuz and what the Rebbe means to all of us. All the camps joined together in song and, the energy of the Gan Izzy campers singing was incredible. Tickets were given out throughout the day and a raffle was held with remarkable prizes (bicycles, roller blades, slip ‘n slides, etc…) given to the winners. The program ended with an amazing balloon show, where the entertainer entered a 6 ft. balloon and proceeded to dance in it to the amazement and delight of all the children. At the conclusion of the show 1000 balloons came raining down upon the campers and each child received a balloon of their own to take home. To wrap up the show each director was given a balloon hat with a letter on it. The letters spelled out UNITY DAY GI! It was a beautiful event. An event the Rebbe would surely get much nachas from.

Thank you to all the camps for joining us and making this unity day a successful and memorable event.

May we all unite together and bring Moshiach now!
