HALLANDALE BEACH, FL [CHI] – A group of Seminary girls returning from the Publix grocery store after shopping for a winter camp they were arranging for the local community, when two of the girls were struck by a passing car, injuring one of them critically.

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL [CHI] – A group of Seminary girls returning from the Publix grocery store after shopping for a winter camp they were arranging for the local community, when two of the girls were struck by a passing car, injuring one of them critically.

The incident took place at around 10:15pm, the vehicle involved in the accident stopped and called 911, police and EMS responded within moments and began treating the two victims, and they were then transported to the Hollywood Memorial Hospital.

One of the girls, Elana Leah bas Shaindel Rochel, was listed in critical condition, while her friend Chaya Mushka bas Mattel, was listed in stable condition. Readers are requested to keep saying Tehillim for their complete recovery. (A copy of Kapitel Chof is included.)

    Elana Lea Bas Shaindel Ruchel is suuuchh a nice grl who has suuuch nice midos. it make sme soo sad to hear that such hard things can come to such nice people. But, I”YH (with our tfilos) shell hav a spppeeeedy recovery!!!

    Chaya is out of intensive care and will be/has already started physical therapy. Elana is still in a coma and needs our prayers. We need Hashem to show us a big miracle. Please continue to daven and say tehillim for both of the girls!

    my daughter said there is going to be IYH’ a big gathering tomorrow to pray for the girls-(in Fla) I wish we could have periodic updates. This is a heart-breaking situation and when something happens to a child, we all feel it as Klal Yisroel does.H’ should have mercy and bring them back to us completely healed…!!!

    I SEE BOCHURIM CROSSING EASTERN PARKWAY IN MIDDLE OF THE BLOCK TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS OF THE GREAT DANGER THEY PUT THEMSELVES IN. MANY TIMES, I HAVE DRIVEN BY AND AT THE LAST SECOND NOTICED THE BLACK COAT AND HAT STANDING IN THE CENTER OF THE PARKWAY WAITING FOR THE TRAFFIC TO CLEAR ON THE OTHER SIDE. IT IS SIMPLY WITH NISIM THAT THEY ARE NOTICED. SOMEONE SHOULD SPEAK TO THE BOCHURIM TO TAKE THE EXTRA 20 SECONDS AND WALK TO THE CORNER AND CROSS AT THE LIGHT.

    Thank G-d Elana is doing much better, the coma was medically indused so it’s not the type that most people think of. The swelling went down and she is responding to mediacations. Just goes to show the power of Tehilim, keep davening!!!
