Crashed Vehicle Abandoned On Union Street In Crown Heights Motzei Shabbos

A crashed car on Union Street in Crown Heights was abandoned by its driver Motzei Shabbos, leaving the street closed off for a period of time.

The incident took place minutes after 10:00pm when a driver on Union Street crossed over Kingston Ave and continued towards Albany. As she drove through the tight confines of the street, she collided with a parked vehicle sticking out slightly, causing both cars to collide with other parked vehicles and wedging the driving vehicle crosswise and blocking the street.

After an alleged altercation, both occupants of the driving vehicle, which had out of state plates, abandoned the stuck car and fled down Kingston Ave towards President Street.

Crown Heights Shomrim responded to the scene and secured the street and scene for the police.
