Police Car Responding In Crown Heights Crashes, Two Officers Taken To the Hospital

Two officers from the 77th Precinct were injured Motzei Shabbos when the NYPD vehicle they were responding in wrecked with another vehicle.
The crash took place near the intersection of Albany Ave and S. Johns Pl around 12:50am, sending both vehicles involved careening off the road and into poles.
East Midwood Volunteer Ambulance transported the two injured officers to Kings County Hospital, while the driver of the other vehicle refused medical attention.
The cause of the crash has not yet been announced, nor if the officers had ben using their emergency lights or sirens at the time.
