by CrownHeights.info

As rain lashed New York City Tuesday morning, a major collision on Eastern Parkway and Kingston Ave trapped two people, and sent a city bus into a branch of Bank of America.

The collision occurred at approximately 5:30am Tuesday, when a city bus driving up Kingston Ave crossed over Eastern Parkway, colliding with the side of a white commercial van driving westbound on the service lane, flipping it onto its side.

The bus continued forward, jumping the sidewalk and crashing into the bank of America branch on the corner.

Emergency responders received a call for people trapped, and a woman was confirmed trapped inside the flipped van.

Thankfully, there were no fatalities reported in the major crash.
