Two Police Officers Injured In Crown Heights Crash

Two police officers responding to a domestic incident crashed on New York Ave in the early hours of Sunday morning, leaving two wrecked vehicles and injuring both officers.

The two had been rushing to a request for additional units at a domestic incident at Carroll Street and Nostrand Ave around 2:20am, when their police vehicle collided with a grey SUV at New York Ave and Crown Street, sending the police car spinning onto the sidewalk.

A 10-13 was called and medics requested on a rush.

The two officers and the driver of the SUV were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
