NYPD Involved Crash on Eastern Parkway Friday

An NYPD vehicle driving on Eastern Parkway was involved in a collision with another vehicle Friday afternoon, shutting down the Parkway for a period.

Th police vehicle had been crossing Troy Ave on Eastern Parkway when it collided with a grey Sedan, causing the airbags in the police car to deploy.

It was not reported if there were any injuries in the crash, or if the police car had its emergency light and sirens engaged at the time of the crash.
