One Killed, Another Injured in Crown Heights Drag Racing Wreck

An investigation is underway in Crown Heights after a drag racing driver jumped the curb at the intersection of Utica and Eastern Parkway, striking two.

According to the police, three cars, a Red Dodge Charger and two other sedans, had been drag racing around the area at approximately 3:00am Sunday night before the didge charger wrecked.

Aniya Blandon, 20, was killed in the crash and a 23-year-old man was rushed to the hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the charger allegedly jumped into one of the other drag racing vehicles before speeding off.
