coming up next on chinfo-
A car crashes a red light!
Pedestrian jaywalks on kingston ave!
interesting!
AGAIN?!!? HAHAH THATS THE 3RD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED!! remember last time was on the same corner too!
not news, nor journalism.
I hope this was not a Jewish girl.
If it was, shame on you for putting up this story. even if you dont put up her name, the fact is that people will talk about the girl on ch.info and she will be caused extra embarrasment, even by just knowing that her story is known to more than just those who witnessed it, but also the entire lubavitch. can a girl not get into an innocent accident in ch without being reported on the news?! this wouldnt even be printed by any other news outlet, not even the NY times “all the news thats FIT to print”.
Bottom line, this is not news, not journalism and not worth reporting. not to mention the readers time you are waisting.
Sara
Poor girl. That’s not how you want your first time behind the wheel to turn out.
........
i dont think its in the best interest of the student , or for anyone else for that matter, for a girl , her first time at the wheel, to start driving on city streets. a parking lot whould sound more ideal to get the feel of the car, and not to have to come to realize that when you are next to a car, and you turn that wheel, YOU WILL HIT IT.
Clean Driving Record
What’s a 16 yr old doing driving anyway!! My kids weren’t allowed to go for a permit until they were a few weeks from 18. Even then, it’s probably too young. Mr. Hughes taught all my kids, he’s great!!
As for “not news, journalism”…who appointed you editor-in-chief?? That’s MY corner, I’m sick of all these accidents right by the Yeshiva (G-d really does watch our kids!) We need to know, people need to be careful not only driving but walking, stepping off the kerb etc.
And if this stupid little girl is Jewish, so what?? When she grows up a bit, Daddy will buy her a new Hummer.
mendy from 1414
thats y you should use darchei no’am he’s really good and something like that would never have happened.
mr. hues is a big bigshot and everyone thinks he’s the greatest

to….. a person needs 2 learn how 2 drive on the road. a parking lot is good 4 a person 2 learn how 2 PARK, not drive. u can’t rly blame her. it is her 1st time driving afterall.
an observer
gosh!
i wold assume that the above comment by “clean driving record” was written by a mother. YOUR use of language is something you should be more concerned about rather than this story!! You sound really low talking like that and the resentment is dripping from every word.
oyveyvey
oy vey!!!
ven cet moshiach kumen?
the situation here is sad
oy vey again
......
to “young driver”: although you are right in saying that you have to learn on sreets, the fist time in a drivers seat should be in a parking lot, or the like, to get the feel.
josh
It seems like you dont know your limits! How low to print this online. Cant you imagine what embarrassment this 16 year old girl will go through. An apology is definitely needed.
CH Reader
Thanks for all the comments on this article and others. It’s something to do to pass the time on a lazy afternoon.

young driver has a good piont YOU LEARN HOW TO PARK IN A PARKING LOT THATS WHY ITS CALLED A PARKING LOT!!!! and to the mother what nerve u have to say here father will buy here a hummer and wheres the love for your fellow jew you dont know her and u say shes stupid you sicken me!!! and mabye u shouldnt be an over protected parent and let your children be who they are not you its there life. and to this poor girl i feel bad but everything is in G-ds hands so i say b/4 u get tramatized start driving today
annoyed
I think it is high time you stopped reporting every accident or error someone makes. a person deserves to have an accident and deal with it without the entire lubavitch putting in their two cents.
support
i’m with the girl!!!! a 16 yr. old is allowed to go for driving lessons acc. to the NY state LAW!!! ok???? besides everyone is entitled to make mistakes…no? we all do that. what we have to do is encourage her, not blame her. she was responsible enough to take a Proffesional Driver with her.!! go girl go!!!
Spell check
Forget the accident, what’s up with the spelling??????????

just by the way the girl wasnt 16 she was 18 so yeah.
to young driver
You might want to learn how to write properly.
You may or may not have a good point, but I’ll bet most people don’t know what you said – people are here to read, not decipher code.
“2” and “4” are not words.
Learning to drive
I think all this talk about a girl crashing is ridiculous. I just wanted to say that Mr. Hughes is not a bad driving teacher- you can’t always prevent these things. However, Darchei Noam is also really good- he’s a Jewish driving teacher. If you’re taking lessons, you should really spend your money supporting a Jew. I took Mr. Hughes and Darchei Noam, and I’m glad I switched.
*chavi
don’t blame the girl..
the first time you got behind the wheel many of you probably ran down the mail box..plus, it sounds like something i would do
great job
I noticed you blocked out the lic plates in the pics. good move.
chrup!
Its funny how when its a 16 year old girl that crashes a car, regardless if its her first time or her tenth, it becomes such a big deal of how it will affect her and what wil people think of her. But when its that little kid rachmono letzlan who gets hit on empire by a car, or that other kid that got hit on eastern parkway, EVERYONE needs to know the name and would like for it to be posted and needs to know every little detail! There is no difference here. doesnt matter about this girls friends and her social life. WHO CARES! i see no reason why it shouldnt get reported on!

To Clean Driving Record
Judging from your language and general attitude you don’t seem mature enough to drive let alone be parent.
young driver
to… the 1st time i went driving, my teacher just told me 2 drive. u could get the feel on the streets 2, u know.
to young driver
as you see from this story, some people CANNOT get the feel on the street!!!!!! i dont get your point
??????
for the one who said this is not news etc. do you ever read the website at all its ch.info news and information and if you dont like the article’s headline dont read it besides accidents happen do you call the ny times when they report on something thats not to your liking gosh go read a novel if you cant handle this.
No reason at all
There is no reason for this to be published –why? For what reason, like mentioned in the earlier comments it’s a sheer embarrassment for the girl.
a person
i dont think its nice when people write not nice things about her. its a accident, accidents happen! why should people right something rude about her or about the driving person.
Izzy
I support student drivers, did the student have a chittas in the car?
How about giving Tzedaka in the morning!?
What does her mashpia say about this?
What can we learn from this in Avodas Hashem?
I suggest she learn about driving based on the teachings of chassidus.
nosson
b”h no one was hurt
mr. hughes student
she didhave chitas in the car. mr. hughes car always has a chitas.
the girls friend
