If our lousy mayor would’ve made sure the streets were properly cleaned during/after the storm, this may well not have happened. Where was Rubashkin etc?**
Why weren’t they screaming about the state of our roads? Not a plough to be seen until yesterday pm. Nothing was gritted or sanded either. I had to drive to work on Wednesday…a 30 min ride took over 2 hours!!
Don’t forget…even though there’s 4 inches of ice at the curbs, we still have to move the cars for alternate side so they can clean the streets. What a joke! They don’t clean them properly in July!!
Imagine if this accident would’ve happened at school arrival/dismissal times?? It was right by Lubavitch Yeshiva! Hope the lady is OK…keep us updated, Webby.
** They never do anything to help us…they just buy Harvey a new hat after a public outcry. Talk about corrupt & lazy!!

I think that ppl going to simchas should begin being more careful and park normally … if nothing changes maybe this is where the cops should begin writing tickets…

FOR UNITY
Dear Crown and Albany,
How do you know that there were no screams for street cleaners? Do you really think our screaming is heeded by the city?
The accident was bad enough. Adding machlokis to the mix is the worst thing one can do at these times.
