Another Accident on Empire – Liquor Store Unharmed

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A few weeks ago an accident in the intersection of Empire and Albany sent a pickup truck smashing through the storefront of the liquor store on that corner. It nearly happened again, and surveillance video captured the incident.

The accident occurred at around 7:00pm; surveillance video shows the two cars colliding mid intersection. One vehicle was driven by a Jewish teenager who collided with a taxi.

The girl sustained injuries to her face from the air bags but was miraculously not seriously hurt, the driver of the car service did not sustain injuries. Hatzalah transported the girl to Kings County Hospital as a precaution.

  • Human vs. store

It should be titled “Another Accident on Empire – No serious injuries”.

Oy, where is my toy store?? Harvey’s Toyland at 473 Albany.

oy the white car took a steady red oh my its so obvious – boys and girls please be careful out there.

  • dont judge

from the video you can see the white car took a red, but dont judge there is alot more that may have happened that you cannot see on the video, such as emergency vehicle trying to get by and other vehicles cutting in and with all the distraction this accident happened.

Dont judge unless you were in their shoes.

  • agreed

    Totally totally agree with #2
srsly. it was an accident. just because it was “another” accident by the same place, priorities have to stay straight.
