At around 8:45pm police began pursuing a Lincoln Town Car after they had observed the car driving recklessly and running red lights. During the pursuit the Lincoln made a turn onto Montgomery Street and sped down the wrong way with police right behind him, upon reaching the intersection of Kingston it collided with a minivan that was driving up Kingston.
The Lincoln was occupied by two male blacks both of which were still in the vehicle as police officers exited their vehicle with their guns drawn screaming ‘show us your hands’, the perps exited their vehicle with their hands up, at this point large numbers of backup arrived on scene and placed both of the perps in handcuffs.

Shomrim members arrived on scene and when they noticed that there was a member of Anash that was driving the minivan they immediately called Hatzalah who responded right away and treated him after which he was transported to Kings County Hospital where he was listed in stable condition. FDNY EMS responded and treated both perps who were then placed in a police car and taken to the precinct where they are being held.
Officers were observed counting large amounts of cash that was on the perps at their arrest. The car they were driving had three different license plates on the car, the front and back plates didn’t match each other and neither did the registration sticker.

That crazy! When is this madness going to end! One can not walk the streets anymore! Ad Mosai!

Great pictures. No wonder the cops were chasing the guys, they were probably producing license plates one after the other, they just forgot to print to of each.
Good job!

That’s why it’s good to always look both ways when crossing the street, even if it’s supposed to be a one way street.

Ch is becoming such an unsafe place, in all aspects…

I hope those kaffirs sit for a long time!
Confused driver
Why are many of the streets in CH one-way? There are way to many car crashes b/c of it. I don’t live in NY and evverytime I come I get so confused b/c in Cali we have huge streets and freeways.

I am only happy that Kol Tuv Market wasn’t hit. Where would I get my kishke and cucumber salad for Shabbos?

BH no Yidden were seriously injured – things could have been much worse.
Soon the brilliant lowlifes will be making license plates for the State instead of for themselves!

What’s the point in chasing criminals through NY City (or any city) streets? What if (G-d forbid) someone had been killed by this accident? A mother and baby? An elderly person, etc?
Are there no other ways to catch criminals (who are soon released)? A police radio is a lot faster than a car.
Who has an intelligent answer to, what seems to me, is an unintelligent (and dangerous) practice.
TO ZALMAN
insted of u guys complainin about when will it stop allredy, go make it stop.

He was making a joke. stop being so stiff. I thought it was funny. You can’t alwaya be serious. It’s ok to joke. Chill.

TL i dont think this type of things can take it as a joke. Imagine if this happened to one of your relatives. How would you reacted?

To TL:
It appears that “a friend” lacks a sense of humor. He/she may be dry, like a piece of toast. BTW, the carrot salad at Kol Tuv is yummy too. Try it as soon as you can. You never know when the North East corner of Kinston and Montgomery will be rammed with an out of control vehicle after a car chase. TL, thanks for your support and hope to see you at my stand up performance.

to BrookAve:
You are so wrong!
it is not a lack of sense of humor that “a friend” has, its just a bit of sensitivity for someone else!!! (which you obviously DON’T have!)
Think for a minute about whoever that driver might be, and about the suffering (both Phisically and Emotionally) that they have to go through. and think if MAYBE they read this site.
And then go think up some better jokes before they “Boo” you off stage at your debut!!
BrookAve
To Defendent of A Friend:
Look, first of all, I will not be boo’d off stage unless I use the N word, which I won’t do. Humor is used to divert your attention away from the tzuris and hope for the best. In this case the injured is home recouping. Do some research on humor and the Yidden through the ages. It is what keeps us going and to have Tikva is the most important thing. Yeder mench hut zein pekel.
To TL:
Kol Tuv has great herring too. You must try it before the windows get smashed, hee hee!
