Pickup Loses Wheel, Smashes 3 Parked Cars, Injures 2
About an hour before Shabbos, a pickup truck traveling down Union Street lost one of its wheels and went smashing into three parked cars, injuring its driver and a man who was saying Tehillim in one of the parked cars.
The incident occurred on Union Street between Kingston and Albany Avenues at around 3:15pm. According to a number of eyewitnesses, the pickup truck, which was being driven by a Bochur, made a right turn from Kingston Ave. and suddenly lost its front left tire, causing it to lose control and careen into three parked cars.
A yungerman, who was sitting inside one of the parked cars reciting Tehillim, was also hurt when his car was smashed from behind and pushed underneath an SUV in front of it.
Hatzalah treated both injured men and transported them to Kings County Hospital.
According to friends of the pickup truck driver, he had just purchased it from a used car dealer two days earlier.

this is not the only time that this has happened.i still remember the incident with wilansky from over 3 years ago when a tire flew off the car as they were returning from their grandsons bar mitzvah in either maine or new hampshire the husband is in a come & the wife passed away half a year later on chanukeh. i still remember that incident from over 3 years ago.
now i don,t know if there is such a thing & if there is such a thing i have no idea who does it or how much the cost is but if i would own a car i would try & see if there is something that inspects the wheels of the car everytime you start the engine & if any of the wheels are loose then an alarm comes on if any of the whhels are loose.
i do not own a car but if i would have a reason to own a car i would try & see if there is something like that that i can have installed on my car.

Maybe sue General Motors for building such junk. Truck was probably built on a Monday by a worker who assembled the suspension after a weekend of partying…
I do hope the Yid has a refua sheleima. Especially that he was saying Tehillim when he got injured.
The Rebbe (YES THE REBBE) linked Tznius to tragedies in a community
Do the Research! The Rebbe quoted many chazal sources indicating that Hashem’s protection to a community (and cha”v the lack therof) is greatly affected by the Tznius!
Tznius saves lives!!
These are the words of Tzadikim,
Tznius attracts extra protection from Hashem for the entire community, and the opposite R”L (warned our sages) brings the opposite!
Dont be an abuser of your fellow neighbors, Care about the safety and blessings of your neighbors,
Lets increase too in Ahavas Yisroel, and be extra careful in checking tfilin and mezusos, that (the Rebbe says) increases ones personal family safety,
as for the community, Tznius is what the Rebbe emphasized to us, he did so bec he knows how the system works and wanted to protect us from as much harm as possible!
this does not mean that we need nt drive carefully as well (you could never be to clear lol)
