Woman Hurt After being Struck by SUV

A woman was injured after an SUV turning on Eastern Parkway did not stop and knocked her down as she was crossing in a crosswalk. Bochurim who witnessed the accident called 911 and Hatzalah.

Hatzalah arrived on scene minutes before EMS and gave first aid to the stricken woman, making a big kiddush hashem. When EMS did arrive they took over and treated the woman – who suffered injuries to her legs and back.

The woman was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
