Police Involved in an Accident
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Two police officers and a civilian were injured following an accident in which police took a red light while responding to an emergency.
The incident took place Tuesday at around 2:45pm in the intersection of Nostrand and Lefferts Avenues, where police went through the intersection with its lights and sirens blaring, but one car couldn’t stop in time and slammed into the side of the police cruiser.
The officers were responding to a call of a large crowd at the Sterling Street subway station.
All the injured were transported to local hospitals.

The criticism is completely unnecessary!!!
While this may or not have been due to negligence, this is definitely an example of a time when you can let things be and keep your mouth shut, if not offer Get Well wishes to the injured.
