JUST IN: Chabad School Bus Involved in Accident

MORRISTOWN, NJ [CHI] — A bus traveling into Crown Heights from Pittsburgh to attend the Lag BaOmer Parade was involved in what is reported to be a serious accident on the Interstate 78 in New Jersey.

The bus was one of the Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh school buses who were on their way to Brooklyn.

In a brief conversation with Moshe Vogel who was at the scene he said that “Baruch Hashem everyone is ok, one boy was taken to the hospital, we don’t think he was hurt, he was alert and conscious,” adding that it was a miracle, and even the police did not belive that no one was seriously hurt in the crash.

Emergency personal sent helicopters to the scene in fear of a mass casualty incident, but thankfully they were not needed.

Reports say that a car came on to the 78 east traveling in th e wrong direction, just past the Morristown exit, and attempted to swerve around on coming cars, eventually colliding and causing a multiple car crash with fatalities.

Rabbi Yossi Rosenblum, principal of Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh told CrownHeights.info “we were traveling with over 120 people on two busses, and one of our busses was involved, one passengers was seriously injured but is expected to be ok.”

Rabbi Rosenblum added that they are recovering and are now trying to find a way to continue their journey to Crown Heights.

Readers are requested to take a moment and say a Kapitel Tehillim for those involved in the accident.

Oh. My…. who cares what exits are and arent near Morristown… and to the last comment who is questioning the boruch hashem everyone is okay–WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU??? When someone isnt driving carefully and crashes into a bus with 60 men and boys, yes, boruch hashem that everyone is safe!!Im sorry if the driver was killed, but it IS Boruch Hashem that everyone else left unharmed… take a moment to appreciate hashem’s rachmanus… and dont waste your time writing inappropriate comments- no one needs you to pray for them

no one should be arguing…all we need to do is focus on the good and ahavas yisroel! Really, Baruch Hashem this wasnt worse because it could have been SO much worse. I am sorry someone was killed. That person also has a family and Hashem should comfort them. We should ALL know only revealed good. And please daven for Yaakov Ben Shulamit, who will now have a long recovery for fractured pelvis, ribs and knee.
