Cyclist Struck and Injured on Eastern Parkway

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A Bochur riding his bike home from Yeshiva was struck by a car as he crossed Eastern Parkway and sustained injuries. The incident happened last night, Thursday, at the intersection of Kingston Avenue.

According to many eyewitnesses the Bochur was waiting for the light, and once it changed he began crossing. A car trying to beat to light slammed into the Bochur, throwing his bike over 15 feet away, but B”H the Bochur didn’t sustain any serious injuries, he escaped with scrapes and bruises.

Hatzalah treated the Bochur and then transported him to a local hospital.

    Not the boy’s fault! uh uh! The driver had a full red light! my cousin got hit by a car 4 or 5 time! He survived. He one time went flying about 15 feet away.

    must be careful on an intersecton especially easttern parkway, he didnt wear his helmet either, ambulance said to the buy that if the car would of hit him coming the other way…he would of god forbid been in crirical condition
